Welcome to my blog. My name is June. I am a teacher and practitioner of many complementary and therapeutic modalities. It is my intention to share knowledge, guidance and experiences that have played a major part in helping me to become the person I am today. My journey to health has involved receiving and experiencing different complementary and alternative therapies. Through that journey and because of the positive experiences I have myself become a teacher and practitioner in Holistic Healthcare.
My inspiration comes from Mahatma Ghandi’s quote (see above) and I believe that change begins within each of us and in order to make those changes we need to become self-aware and mindful of our needs and the needs of others.
I am a teacher and student of mindfulness and offer courses in small groups and as one-to-one sessions. Mindfulness has become an integral way of life and brought me many and wonderful new awareness and positive changes. As we get to know each other I will share my perception of Mindfulness, it’s benefits and ways in which we can use the techniques, skills and knowledge to change our perceptions of the internal world within us and the external world we live in.
As a teacher of Mindfulness, Reiki, Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), Inner RePatterning and Health and Well-being, I have developed and run courses for all ages. Courses in Managing your Health and Well-being are run through the Workers’ Education Association (WEA) and I have been teaching at Foresight at Minster Road, Scunthorpe for several years now. Other courses such as Anger Management and Mindfulness can be accessed through Open Door Care, Grimsby. At Complements Holistic Health & Healing, based at Centre4 Limited, 17a Wootton Rd, Grimsby I offer a variety of Complementary Therapies, Mindfulness, Reiki, CBT, EFT and Inner RePatterning. Bespoke training courses are available and can be taught both privately in small groups and am I willing to travel to deliver courses nationwide.
I offer 8 week Mindfulness Course within the Centre which are open to the public, professionals and those wishing to develop, continue or learn Mindfulness.
As a practitioner of Holistic Healthcare I work with clients on an individual basis and can offer traditional therapies such as massage, reflexology and guidance on nutrition as well as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and other techniques which work on emotional issues. My commitment to every person is to provide a professional service which is tailored to individual needs using a person-centred approach.
